This is just a quick entry to say that Justgiving account is not being set up, to cut a long story short MSPCA is not one of their recognised charities (UK thing!) and it costs per month for the account to be maintained so it has been decided to sack that idea and to do it the old fashioned way in the form of pen and paper!
If people would like to sponsor me they can contact me directly, message me, put an entry on the blog or alternatively you could pledge money direct to the MSPCA through Paypal.
I hope you guys will continue to follow me and support me and my cause, the MSPCA do great work on Island and are sometimes forgotten in relation to fund raising. Raising the profile of the MSPCA and show the good work that they do plus raising a bit of money is my aim throughout this campaign.
Its not only dogs and cats that they look after and nurse back to health there is also a small animal unit catering for the likes of hedgehogs, there is also an aviary and a seal unit. The MSPCA over recent years has been involved in rescuing a number of seals and seal pups, one of which I had involvement with, well nearly bitten by it anyway!!! I remember the night well in Tent Road, Laxey where the seal pup was on the pavement having been washed up over the road by high tide. Lovely looking but vicious obviously petrified of what was happening.
